Two genuine red aventurine polished stones and my handformed and hammered comfort fit earwires make up these nickelfree and hypoallergenic earrings.

With the two stones on each drop, these hypoallergenic earrings measure approximately 1 and 3/4 inches (or 3.5 cm) from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the dangle, making them lightweight, yet substantial enough that you can feel that they are there. The genuine red aventurine stones measure about 5mm diameter each.

These can also be made as single drops (one stone per ear), triple drops (three stones per ear), or on different color or material earwires and findings. Just ask!

Aventurine gemstone is said to benefit its wearer in all areas of creativity, imagination, intellect, and mental clarity. It is a lovingly gentle stone energetically that gives a sense of calm and balance, courage and inner strength, and a general sense of well-being. Red Aventurine in particular amplifies the above effects, and is associated with the sacral and root chakras.

In crystal healing lore, Red Aventurine is believed to have an anti-inflammatory effect, soothing skin eruptions, allergies, and migraines, and also has a strong affinity with assisting in the areas of fertility, helping to heal the reproductive system and correct hormonal imbalances.

These earrings are 100% nickel-free, lead-free, and hypoallergenic. The findings are made from natural brass, which is 85% copper / 15% zinc, both minerals that are biologically necessary for life, so they cannot cause an allergy.

Upon request, any of my earrings can also be made with different material findings, including 22K Gold-plated surgical grade stainless steel (recommended by Simply Whispers), .999 fine silver plated surgical grade stainless steel, natural brass (bronze), solid copper, or enamel plated copper (in a variety of colors). The enamel plated copper is the most hypoallergenic of these materials, though it does not offer quite the same look and shine as fine silver or 22K gold.

Another factor to consider is that fine silver tarnishes quickly and splotchy, solid copper tarnishes somewhat slowly, brass tarnishes slowly and evenly, and the 22K gold and enamel do not tarnish at all.
