These adorable Handmade White Deerskin Baby Moccasins are made from commercially processed deer hide and stitched entirely by hand.
Using my own design and a mixture of soft pastel colors, I have created a tiny and unique pair of genuine moccasins that can be worn by either an infant boy or girl.
Using size 11 czech seed beads, these have been embellished around the top edge as well as on the top of the toe area. Three tiny seed beads are used to create a lazy stitch for the top of the toe area.
A thin cut piece of leather is used as a lace tie and are embellished with a two tiny glass barrel beads.
Holes for the stitching are punched by hand. Sinew is used to sew the moccasins together.
Length: 3 1/2 inches long x 2 in. wide x 2 1/2 in. tall.
Each pair of my beaded baby moccasins are created one pair at a time and beaded by me. It usually takes me two or three days to make a single pair.

I created this design several years ago from a combination of traditional look and wanting something unique to offer my customers. These little beaded baby moccasins have been a favorite at powwows and local markets since I put the first pair on display.
