The multicolors of this woven friendship bracelet remind us of Fiesta! Using the techniques used by Peruvian artist, I have created this bright and colorful little bracelet using the Wave pattern.

Friendship bracelets are traditionally given as a gift to a special friend. By tying the bracelet on the wrist of your friend, your friendship is said to endure until the bracelet falls off.

From pre-teen to young adults, these are a great way to share a friendship. Wear one yourself and give one to a good friend.

These bracelets are reversible. They can be worn on either side. Better yet, get two matching ones and show off both sides!

Lenght is just under 6 1/2 inches long and not quite 1/2 inch wide. These have a loop and 2 inch string tie for securing to the wrist.

The design of these bracelets originated in South America in the region of Machu Pichu , and are most notebly made by Peruvian village people.
I have been a fan of Peruvian art for several years and have wanted to learn how to make these little bracelets. After several hours of tangled strings, I finally managed to create the look I had fallen in love with.
My hope is that you will enjoy this unbelievable tribal art as much as I do!
