Meet Maeve (means intoxicating) a ooak, 14 inch (not counting the hat) witch dressed in a black velvet draped dress with rhinestones set in. The original dress was made from one my own Grandmother made for my mom back in the 30's. So this witch is sentimental to me. Maeve is a stump doll (no legs) holding her very own crystal ball.
Her face was hand drawn with artists pencils then sealed to protect it from dust and fading. Her hair is a crocheted custom wig I made for her and I covered the stand she is attached to with some of the black velvet.
Maeve was completely handmade without the use of a sewing machine. She will come wrapped nicely for the season.

My Grandmother was a seamstress and made the dress that I used the material from for this doll.
