The symbol of the turtle remind us to appreciate life's simple, true necessities: shelter, food, drink, and the most importantly, faith.

This little guy, created by Elwood Glass, is simple with it's sea bluegreen shell and innocent eyes. To keep with that thought, she was strung with a strand of glistening soft peach seed beads and a strand of teal seed beads that all most have the texture of sea glass. All are woven along a large link antique silver chain. I love an asymmetrical look, so to balance out the large chain I found a boro bead created by BC Lampworks in the same peachy colors as Odessa's shell. This is a truly striking necklace you will treasure for many years.
