These tiny rings - each one with an inner diameter of only millimeters - are painstakingly woven one by one into a chainmaille weave called Byzantine. The finished product is a mere 4 mm wide - delicate and simply elegant, yet intricately woven.

This is made of a relative of sterling silver called argentium, which is an alloy mixed with germanium instead of copper - which means it tarnishes very very slowly (although the clasp is sterling).
