The beads on this "Scherzo" weave bracelet are temperature sensitive, similar to the "mood ring" and other mood jewelry that was really popular in the 70s (and is still really cool!). These have a lot of color variation and frequently (as you can see in some of the pictures) will have more than one color on the same bead. They're black when really cold, then shade through reds, oranges, purples, green and blue.

I've added these beads directly to black anodized links in a Scherzo chainmaille pattern. The silver rings are stainless steel so they won't tarnish. I had someone ask to buy this bracelet before I was finished with it :)

I can also do a similar bracelet with large links in a color other than black (or rainbow).
