One of a kind lot! This is the only yarn I have spun from this fiber. Even if I get the same fiber again, the yarn would not be the same so be sure to check the yardage amount for the project you plan.

A soft and bouncy yarn from the blue faced leicester sheep's wool. The wool was originally white and then I dyed it this deep coral pink color before spinning it into this specialty yarn.

The yarn is very soft, and so could be used in next to the skin projects. Please be aware that there is active twist yet in this yarn which could affect the final project.

Special note: Please do not try to work from this skein without a skein winder, it will tangle due to the active twist. If the yarn would be easier for you to use in a ball instead of the skein, please let me know when you purchase this and I will be happy to put it into a ball free.

Why do I call this a novelty yarn? Because it has been spun outside of what some would call 'normal' spinning parameters. First the singles were spun different thickness in the same yarn and with extra twist. Then those singles were plied together very loosely and often unevenly. This allows the still remaining active twist to show in the yarn.

The result is this lovely fuzzy yarn. Some of the fuzz comes from the wool breed, some from the spinning process and some from how it was washed after spun. The end result is this unique one of a kind yarn for your fiber project.
