Boatrightwoodworks (Boatright Wood Works) offers a selection of various items such as bowls, vases, jewelry boxes, earring holders, ring holders, paperweights, miniature birdhouse ornaments, unique Christmas ornaments, writing instruments, and toys.
These items are made from wood, mainly woods found locally, such as mesquite, mesquite burl, elm, spalted hackberry, mulberry, pecan, pine, and cedar to name a few. The majority of my wood is obtained from wind-damaged trees or from family and friends.
Each item is carefully hand turned using the wood to its best potential. It is then taken through multiple stages of sanding to ensure a smooth product. The proper finish is selected based on the purpose of the item and what will accentuate the natural beauty of the wood.
