Welcome to my Art from the Heartland Studio. Here you will find my treasures that I paint from my heart, and my sewing projects and other crafts that bring me great pleasure to create.I have dabbled with artistic "projects" all my life, from painting to knitting to sewing and everything else in between. I taught art for many years before switching to Special Ed. Now that I am retired (I do substitute teach) I have continued to spend a lot of my time in creative endeavors.The other great love of my life has been my Newfoundland dogs. I began to go to shows...) I actually showed newfs for many years) and realized that I could never find anything that related to the breed, so I began to make my own t-shirts. and coffee mugs..and on and on and on..I went into doing other breeds as well, so my artistic endeavors now include lots and lots of dog lover's unique items.
