I first started making soaps shortly after my first child was born. She had sensitive skin and the baby soaps in the stores were giving her rashes. When my children got a bit older, I started to make them more for me. After a few mishaps, I finally developed the perfect soap. Creamy lather combined with ingredients meant to nourish the skin and stimulate the senses. After the bar soap recipe, came the liquid soaps for shampoos, hand cleansers, facial cleansers, and shaving soaps. Finally, the cream soaps emerged. These are meant for body washes, facial cleansers, foot scrubs, and really dirty hands. I've been knitting since I was 5 years old, but didn't actually get good at it until my teens. Now,I have the experience to create my own projects and dye my own yarn!I've found that everything is inspirational, from a child's story book to the clouds on a rainy day.
