Welcome to SFN Designs! I make all my jewelry by hand using many different metal smithing techniques. I really enjoy combining metals through a process called marriage of metals. The end result is a multi colored piece that looks like it was always just one piece of metal. I also like making my own chains and most of my necklace and bracelet chains are made by creating each individual link by hand (usually textured in some manner) and linking them together to form a unique piece. I work primarily with Sterling Silver, Fine Silver, Copper, Brass and Nickel. My ear wires are also made by hand out of Sterling Silver. I enjoy color and texture, both of these often find their way into my pieces. I am always amazed how these two properties can catch the eye and make one look just a bit longer, discovering what else can be found. Take your time looking through my jewelry.
