An environmentally friendly wood working studio that rescues "Found" wood. We use the wood from backyards and roadsides that the big mills will not use. We process, mill, and work this timber into home decor with a refined rustic appeal.
If you are in the Michigan area - we offer services including felling and milling on site. We often have a few bowl blank size chunks or slabs that range from 1" to 3" thick and average over a foot in width, we can mill up to 3 feet wide. You cannot buy wood in these widths, and with character or grain like we see in some older urban trees.
We also sell this wood to other artisans - feel free to message or e-mail we love to talk wood. We only cut live trees that the homeowner is going to cut anyway, usually because they are misplaced, dying, or dangerous.
