All of the items sold by Diana and Wolfgang are handmade and original designs. We buy as many distinctive materials as possible, to create a unique look. We cut the stone and can make that part a unique appearance by default. We collect or purchase the rough rock from which we cut and polish the finished stones. Most of the materials are unusual to very rare. They are mixed to be affordable, but are also stones that are usually difficult-to-work. Hand-cut stones vary in color, pattern and size. The art of cutting stones is an ancient one and difficult to master. Even the right equipment does not ensure a good final product. The jewelry is hand crafted. Sometimes the sterling silver is made from raw metal and other times it is altered from a finished raw item that we felt to be attractive. The jewelry is frequently adorned or accentuated by beads influenced by Arizona mineral colors. The goal is for final color combinations to be just the right blend of stones, beads and metal. More »
