I paint miniatures on small pieces of bone, wood and stone to create mostly nature themed pendants which are paired with painted wood beads and semi-precious stones and made into one of a kind hand painted necklaces.
The hand painted wood beads are also used to make bracelets and earrings. Several coats of a high gloss sealant are applied to the pendants and wood beads in order to protect the paint and provide a smooth and shiny finish.
Wire work using copper and sometimes sterling silver is included in these creations.
Why copper? Because copper has beautiful, warm, earthy tones, especially after oxidation, that look fabulous with any color.
