Hi everyone;
Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous new year. Thankyou for your support and I welcome you to my shop. I am constantly painting new themes and ideas as well as my favorite subjects such as bamboo, dragonflies, flowers, and insects.
It is not possible for me to upload all of my new work but you will see a variety of my work on this site.
I will be offering brush painting FREE WORKSHOPS (3hrs) at my studio here in Long Island City, NY. Subjects will include; Four Gentlemen(Bamboo, Chrysanthemum, Orchid, Plum Blossom); Fish; Insects (dragonfly, lizard, preying mantis); Flowers (Peony,Azalea,Sunflower); Mountain Landscapes; and, Modern Techniques. Free drinks and snacks. Every two weeks starting in February, I will post the schedule soon. Brushes and materials will be available.
My style of painting is a fusion of Eastern and Western techniques, philosophy and aesthetics. (MFA in Western Studio Art and Critical Theory plus over 25yrs of Sumi painting. More »
