Mike and I currently work and reside on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. We are surrounded by mountains and ocean in an temperate rain forest that abounds with wildlife. Michael's inspiration is the eagles soaring over our studio and a saucy raven scolding us from a nearby
fir tree, all while a black tail deer munches away in our garden.
Mike has had an artistic flare his entire life, so long in fact that he cannot ever remember not being able to draw. He was first featured in the local newspaper in 1979 followed by several magazine articles though out the eighties. His work has been featured in a couple of television shows and a few movies. We currently sell primarily to gift shops, boutiques and several museum stores through out North America, including the Smithsonian on more than one occasion. Although not new to internet sales, we are relatively new here. We are really enjoying the atmosphere and integrity of the people that frequent Artfire and look forward to becoming part of this community. Thank you for taking the time to browse through our shop.
