This shop's story began as an escape about 3 years ago.
Shortly after I began my PhD and my daughter turned 1 y/o, a need started growing in my heart. These images, ideas, possibilities that had been in my mind for as long as I remember started to push
their way out. Out came my old sketchbooks and paint supplies that I thought had been put away forever.
Still, a young child and PhD course work kept me busy enough for another two years, but with every 20 minutes free I'd rush to the work table to add a little something to a project. Nights too were mine to create. In the end, the shop was born out of this need.
Normally, my days are spent my little miss preschooler running around at home, getting ready for the new baby, and finding some time to give my patient husband. And of course there's drawing, painting, photographing, crafting, and all that you will see on the shop. More »
