Thank you for visiting my store. Here you will find a selection of Sami style jewelry made of pewter wire and leather. The art of pewter wire embroidery is an ancient skill and 1000 year old artifacts made with spun metal thread have been found in Scandanavia. The Sami are the indigenous people of Northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Kola Penninsula in Russia. These beautiful objects are a product of a long history of craftmanship and the Sami people´s relationship to the environment and the materials it provides. I hope my work reflects this ancient nomadic spirit. More »
