Welcome!My name is Robert Kimball. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I've lived in New York, Hawaii and now in Nevada. All of my paintings are created with oils. I paint with a palette knife and brushes and I use a glazing technique for most of my paintings. Most of my paintings are landscapes and still life.I also love to draw. My main mediums are charcoal, graphite pencil, pen and ink, conte and conte and oil wash.I'm also in the process of making instructional and demonstrative videos on YouTube and on my website.When, after much soul searching, in 2003, after many years of working in the commercial art world, I decided to pursue my dream of creating fine art on a full time basis.
