Apart from some baking, I haven't made plans to do much crafting for Valentine's Day this year. Even though it's down to the weekend before the holiday, I'm determined to create something for Valentine's with my own two hands! In addition to the ideas for handmade cards and craft projects, below are some simple last-minute Valentine's Day projects that don't take too much time or cost very much.

 

 

Lollipop Flowers

These flowers make great Valentine's for kids, and could also be used in last-minute decorating. This is a cute, quick and easy craft that's perfect for friends, children or co-workers.

 

Candy Heart Frame

This frame is a great gift for kids to make for grandparents, or for that slightly kooky friend or relative that won't mind having a rainbow frame made of candy out all year! Spraying this with varnish or clear coat is probably a good idea.

Recycled Valentine Vases

Planning on giving someone flowers this Valentine's? Why not put them in this creative hand-painted vase? Not only does this make the gift of flowers more personal, but it is a fantastic way to repurpose those plastic/glass recyclables.
