A piece of news for vintage clothing, accesories, and pattern artisans.  We saw a new database last week with a particualarly good URL for vintage clothing sellers, the website and database can be found at http://www.vintageclothingsellers.com  

After contacting the website admin ArtFire was included as a store that can be added to their database.  If you would like your store listed you can add your link to their directory by clicking the following link.

Yea, I just took a look!  It's great to have more arrows pointing here.  Thank you, ArtFire and Vintage Clothing Sellers!

Their blog has some interesting vintage-related articles, written by their administrators, and it mentions that others can contribute articles, as well.  I hope some of our vintage people can share some of their wit and wisdom there.

I tried to sign up with my Attic Closet Vintage shop, and got an error...something about the use of  ' ( apostrophes) in my blurb....so will try again without them to see if it will work. 

The site is really cool, and I took a look at all the Vintage patterns they had, and the prices they were charging, and I have a lot that look just like them, so guess I'll list them in the vintage studio, rather than in my fabric one.  Makes sense, I guess.

I'm definitely going to check out that link and I have to tell you, I truly appreciate your finding it and posting it here.

Part of my interest right now is as a customer - cause I love vintage so much - but also as a seller, because many of my jewels are vintage - and I'm going to be experimenting in the coming year with re-purposed and altered vintage clothing.

Either way, vintage is SUCH a great idea - cool stuff, great prices, and earth friendly too - what's not to love!
