I've been tweeting and facebooking and stuff for this. I have blogged about it, too. I saw some blogs where some of the seller of the day's pics had been loaded to a promoters blog. I tried to do that and had no luck. I ended up just posting a link to the item. Can anybody tell me how I can post an item pic in my blog? I'm on blogspot. I tired doing it the blogspot way and still couldn't get it to work. I will also admit that I am better with beads than techno stuff, so if you have an answer for me, please speak slowly and distinctly. LOL! Thanks

If you cannot open the spreadsheet, don't worry about it. Upcoming sellers are listed on the forum.

If you do not see your name on the spreadsheet, don't worry it does not mean that you are not going to be. There are currently over 100 sellers on that list and it keeps growing.

This promotion has been a lot of fun and I hope all of you get lots out of it!

Dancing I use blogspot and use ImageShack and sometimes photobucket for the promo pics of other sellers items. From either one (ImageShack or PhotoBucket) you can upload a pic from a URL. Simply right click the photo in the shop, save location then go to the photo host and paste it in where you upload from web or URL.

Then when you write your blog post paste in the HTML for the photo in your edit HTML tab.

If you don't get what I am saying I can take screen shots and post step by step directions. I am better with photo descriptions myself.

DancingWindDesigns - do you use byhand.me? If so, you could create a spotlight there, view the spotlight, click on the globe icon, select a version (I use "mini"), copy the code, and paste it into your blog post where you want the spotlight to appear. If you have any problems with this, please let me know and I'll try to explain it better tomorrow when I'm not falling asleep.

i copied the URL of the images from the seller's studios and then while you're at blogspot's writing page, hit the image button, it will load a new window, and paste in the url in the "url box" (it's on the right side)

hope that helps :)

In all honesty if you want the image tostay on your blog so that if people go back through the posts you have made it is better to right click the photo in their shop and then select save image and then save the item to your computer and then upload it using the image upload from your computer. It means the image will be there even once the item is sold and disappears from the original site. This means your blog looks better when archived.

I also always link the photos back to the item. To do this, once you have loaded the photo, go to the compose tab then click on the photo to highlight it. Then click on the hyperlink button, enter the address of the listing and ok it. This makes the photo a live link to the items listing.
