This Rustic Eastern Red Cedar Soap Dish is handcrafted, eco-friendly, and designed to make your soap last longer. It has a beautiful silky texture.
The Eastern Red Cedar is from a fallen tree found on our land in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
I removed the bark, and sanded the wood numerous times.
I then oil the wood with all natural tung oil to bring out the natural beauty of the cedar.
The wood is then preserved with beeswax.
Tung oil preserves the wood, and the beeswax prevents the wood from attracting and holding moisture.
I assemble each dish with natural hemp.
Measures approximately:
4 inches x 2 3/4 inches x 3/4 inch tall
(10cm x 7cm x 2 cm tall)
