This guenon monkey looks up from his nap to observe his human visitor.

The mat measures 5x7 on the external edge, so it is ready to fit into most standard frames. (Be sure to check before buying your frame; I've learned the hard way that not all frames leave sufficient depth to accommodate the mat.)

The back of the photo is protected with a colorful sheet of cardstock, so if you prefer, you can display this photograph by leaning it against a vase or molding or whatever you like.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

I was at the zoo one day and was struck by the weary patience in the eyes of this animal. His dignity in the face of his captivity seemed worth capturing on film. Ten years later, I scanned this image and transformed what had been a black-and-white photograph into a sepia-toned one.
