When Aphrodite first stepped ashore on the island of Cyprus, she was a “modest and lovely Goddess”, since known as the Lady of Cyprus. Her gentle domain was intended to be “the sweetness of love” and “the whispering of girls” but her adventures, and the adventures of her children, caused as much misery and bloodshed as any of the immortals.

This necklace was created as part of my Strong Women series. It's hand formed with copper, flame colored to give it a very earthy appearance. The colors range from dark red to orange, gold, and black. Wrapped in copper and suspended from the folded neckpiece is another beautiful bead from Patty Lakinsmith.
The collar is 18 inches at the neck, but I can shorten it if you want. The pendant and collar together measure 3 1/2 inches in length. You'll really feel like a goddess in this!
