A single apricot orange lily on a sky blue background is featured in this quilted and embroidered wall hanging. A bud is peaking out from behind.
The blossom is detailed with satin stitching, thread painting and beading. I painted the orange fabric with water colors and heat set it.
All the fabrics in the tapestry are 100% cotton, a mixture of batiks, hand dyes, and my painting. The background is curve pieced in 2 shades of blue and the stem and leaves are various shades of green.
Like my other picture quilts, this is sized to fit in my specially designed quilt frames. These frames use magnets to securely hold the quilt pieces in place and hang easily on the wall. When youre ready for a change, another art quilt or seasonal quilt picture will be available in my studio! Put me in your "favorites" and check back often. A collection of handmade art quilts is a great, unique investment.<

SEW MANY PICTURES is my newest product! Quilt art that is high quality and affordable. Each Picture is 8X10 and designed to be hung on the wall in my CUSTOM FRAMES. The great thing is that you can EASILY switch to any other Amy Designs Picture Quilt! This way, you can enjoy different pictures for different times of year or different holidays!
