These pendants are an object of remarkable beauty - The design on this 1-3/8" wide x 1-3/4" tall porcelain pottery shard displays a purple or grape colored flower with green leaves and is wrapped in a band of sterling silver.
This shard dangles from an awesome hammered Hill Tribe Silver curved centerpiece that spreads 2 inches across. Above the shard and spanning the width of the centerpiece is a group of green round naturally curved shell discs with tiny wine colored glass pearls. I used a flexible piece of black suede for the stringing material. The whole focal unit hangs 3 inches from the top of the curved piece to the bottom of the shard. You can choose the length you want. Just let me know and I will make to your desired length. (N-1046)
NOTE FROM SUPPLIER: Ming Dynasty pottery shard pendants. Our pendants are hand shaped from authentic old pottery shards unlike many reproduction pieces which are sold as authentic Ming Dynasty shards. These were uncovered at an archeological site of an old Chinese porcelain factory located along the Yangtze River in the Hubei Province. Several factories once operated in this area during the Ming through the Qing Dynasties, 300 to 900 years ago. Our pendants are wrapped in a silver plated bezel, with an open back. Each pendant we offer is unique and no two are exactly alike.
