Scroll-cut from solid 1" thick Poplar Wood, this adorable 8 piece food set is lovingly crafted with safety in mind. All edges have been rounded off to protect your little ones. Details are hand burned (pyrographed) into the wood. The coloring was achieved with watered-down, AP certified non-toxic, water based crayola paint. And a harmless mix of 100% pure mineral oil / Beeswax coating. These are sized perfectly for little hands and are kid-tested on my own children! 100% hand crafted, 100% American-made, and 100% fun!*NOTE* Unlike my other toy sets, this set contains smaller pieces NOT recommended for children who are young enough to swallow small toys!*

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

After the "lead paint" chinese toy fiasco I, like many moms, was terrified of buying mass market toys for my small children. This inspired me to create toys that I knew, without a doubt, would be completely safe. I made several toy sets for my kids and they were such a hit that friends began asking me to make them for their kids as well! Now i'm offering a few sets for sale, and am willing to discuss custom sets too.
