This pattern is really fun to make and not too hard. It is designed for intermediate crocheters and beyond. The hardest part is just following a pattern. This pattern is a take on one of the oldest patterns in crochet, spider lace. I have updated this ancient technique in a easy to follow modern rendition of Winged Victory.

The finished shawl measures approximately 32" from the center bottom to the center top and 57" from wing tip to wing tip.
