This handbuilt earthenware ceramic wall hanging is sculpted from an actual catalpa leaf picked from my backyard forest. The unique finish is a leather-like, semi-matte brown achieved by buffing on several layers of wax and pigment.

A quarter is included in one of the images to give a sense of scale.
