This necklace is known as The Oglala Butterfly. It is worked in one continuous loop using over twenty feet of thread. I have created this necklace with clear beads with multi-colored centers. This gives an ice or water effect to the look of the beads. This necklace measures about 27"-28" around, as each necklace has some stretch to it when you place it around your head. Some people also use this style of necklace as a garland for their hair.
