This a very nice deep antique rose color. It is a little darker than the photos indicate. The sheen of the yarn gives the impression of a lighter colored yarn. Some skeins have bits of purple where the dye separated a bit. These bits will give your finished object a high light of color here or there. You may want to use two skeins at once, alternating skeins every 2 rows.
This yarn base is Louet's Gem yarn. It has a very nice sheen and tight twist.
