The stone has deep hues of brown and purple and the occlusions are irredescent gold. I wrapped it sideways, because the occlusions form to look like tiny castles in the distance.
The setting is very wide ( 2 stands of sterling silver pattern wire and 8 14k gf wires at a total width of 18mm) to offset the size of the stone.
The stone is a 32mm by 24mm faceted oval, and the whole pendant measures 1 3/4" from the top of the bail and 1 1/4" wide. The bail is also large to accomodate even the chunkiest of chains.
