Hand selected for size and luster, each vintage glass pearl in Empress is the perfect white color (not too yellow and not too blue). Designed with tiny clear glass spacers, to give it ample flexibility, this 2-piece necklace set only looks like a fortune. If these were cultured pearls, you would have to be an Empress to afford them!

This magnificent necklace features 23 inches of outstanding vintage glass pearls. A retro-looking silver plated barrel clasp keeps the strand secure - even while you are twirling around the dance floor!

The matching 2 inch earrings are more of the same graduated glass pearls dangling from bright silver-plated ear wires. Betty chose silver-plate for its ability to handle the swinging pearl beads.

I have been working on wedding jewelry for the Spring bridal season and decided to raid my mother Jennie's extensive costume jewelry and collectible bead stash. When I found a storage tin filled with these luscious glass pearls, I knew I had to spend the extra time to hand select the sizes for balance and size. As the graduated strand came together, I began to envision a happy bride clutching her groom's hand as the camera focused on this magnificent bridal jewelry set.
