In fall 2007 I went to Heritage Park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with my new camera. I was really excited! Thanks to the awesome 12X zoom, I was able to get this lovely shot of a male sparrow near the bakery. I took about a dozen shots of the chirpy little birds as they tried to bum bread from park visitors.

I feel this is one of my best nature photos. It has the right amount of colour and selective focus. I think I would have been heartbroken if the sparrow was out of focus!

This 6x8" print was developed in a film lab on glossy Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper. Like all artwork, it should be framed under glass and kept out of direct sunlight.
