This plushie/doll is ready for Halloween! She comes with two complete costumes: an Autumn faerie and a witch. I am learning Old English, and her name means "sorceress".
The doll itself is entirely acrylic yarn with handpainted (in fabric paint) eyes, mouth, makeup, necklace, bracelet, and ring. She is 6" (15.2 cm) tall and the pattern for her came from kristieskids.etsy.com.
The faerie costume comes with a dress with removable wings (the wings snap to the back of the dress) and a circlet made from silver colored metal chain and a teal colored bead. The dress and wings are crocheted from wool yarn, so if they get dirty, wash these gently in cold water.
The witch costume contains a black dress and a black hat- both of these are acrylic yarn, so can be washed in warm water with no problem.
I would not give this to a small child because it is a small art doll (and the circlet would be a choking hazard), but it would be fine for older kids and adults. The dresses slide on from the feet up, then when the dress is halfway up, slide the arms in the sleeves, then pull it the rest of the way up; this will keep the arms from getting damaged. This is also a reason I would not give this doll to a small child; they would not have the patience to slide the tight dress on without ripping it or the doll.
