These earrings are made from genuine acorn caps, picture jasper, and brass findings. The ear wires are niobium.
The acorn caps were selected for their size, color, and shape. Then they were soaked and carefully scrubbed clean with antibacterial soap. After being allowed to dry fully, the acorn caps are drilled, rubbed with bronze pearlex powders, and sealed with Triple Thick Diamond Glaze.
Inside each acorn cap, I place a smooth, round, 15 mm Picture Jasper bead. Not only was the Jasper a perfect fit for the acorn caps, but it also looks very natural...almost like a real acorn nut.
All of the findings in this pair of earrings are brass, except for the niobium ear wires. The ear wires are hypoallergenic niobium. Niobium is the perfect solution for brass and copper ear wires, which can irritate some peoples ears.
Total length of these earrings is 50mm.
Due to international customs, regarding the export of organic materials, I will not be able to ship these earrings overseas.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
I live on nearly four acres of wood and am surrounded by nature. I have, at my disposal, Ohio Red Buckeyes, Contorted Filberts, quartz deposits, and Oak trees. As As I learn more about the plant and geological material that exists on my land, I find it making its way into my jewelry more and more. Even though I carefully select my materials, please remember that they are natural and allow for slight irregularities.
