Handmade purple yellow faceted ametrine sterling silver wire wrapped necklace - Daniela

Ametrine is a naturally occuring form of quartz that is a mixture of amethyst and citrine with both purple and yellow colors.

This handmade necklace is made from a gorgeous faceted ametrine briolette about 15 mm wide and 20mm tall.

I antiqued the sterling silver wire and attached it to a simple sterling silver chain closed with a lobster clasp. All the sterling has been antiqued to a gorgeous dark gun-metal shade.

Daniella's sterling silver chain is 18 in (about 48 cm) and the pendant adds about another 1 inch (2.5 cm) to the necklace length.
