The Sangria Designer Earrings were inspired by it's deep red orange color (Shamber), and just like fingerprints, no two are exactly the same. I like to think of the natural striations as a "Beauty Mark" on some of these unique Red Agate gemstones. The gorgeous smooth rectangular shaped gemstones are handcrafted with illuminating 925 Sterling Silver wire hoops, and lots of 925 Sterling Silver beads and Bali spacers on each end of the gemstone. The fascinating gemstone hoops are hand wired with 925 sterling silver and hang on shiny 925 sterling silver ear wires from Bali.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

Red Agate is a type of quartz (silica), chiefly chalcedony, characterised by its fineness of grain and bright red orange color. No gemstone is more creatively striped by nature than agate, chalecedony quartz that forms in concentric layers in a wide variety of colors and textures. Each individual agate forms by filling a cavity in host rock. As a result, agate often is found as a round nodule, with concentric bands like the rings of a tree trunk. The bands sometimes look like eyes, sometimes fanciful scallops, or even a landscape with dendrite trees.
