This is a hand painted drop spindle painted by me.
The whorl is hardwood, and the shaft is made from oak.

It is approximately 8 inches long and 24 grams in weight. It is notched on one side.

Painted with a base of pink it features one open sweet pea flower top of the whorl, with more buds around the edge and down the shaft. The open sweet pea is dusted with glitter for some extra shine. This design also features green vines going between the buds down the shaft and around the whorl.

Each spindle is signed and numbered. There are currently 3 of these available. They will be sold from lowest numbered spindle to highest. While each is similar, no two are totally alike. I will be limiting the production of each design to 1 year.

This spindle is perfect weight to spin on the go, just pop a bit of fiber and the spindle in a plastic bag and keep it in your purse for impromptu spinning time.
