This skein is a natural colored Shetland wool that has been handspun on my Jensen Production spinning wheel. The color is a soft milk chocolate brown, very pretty.

This is a soft yarn which would be good for socks, hats, scarf, or fair isle mittens.

This natural skein is great to use for colorwork. I am currently working up some more skeins in natural colors, white, chocolate brown, black, and grey.

As with all handspun there will be some variations within the skein. This is to be expected and is what makes each skein a work of art.

All of my handspun creations are created in a smoke-free, dog friendly environment. I wash all my yarn before I ship it to set the twist and then hang to dry.

I recommend all items knit from my handspun be hand washed regardless of the fiber content. A gentle wash in cold water with a product specific to wool as well as being washed separately is also recommended.
