Medusa Original Painting 2004, was framed and double matted with acid-free matting for a juried event. Size is 16x20 inches.
There is no glass as the glass broke while on display. Two small blemishes/scuffs on the outer mat, right side upper and lower barely visible in the right light.
I attempted to photograph the blemishes but they are so faint they won't show up in photographs.
Marked down from $195 to $95 for the "Christmas in July" sale! This month only!

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
Medusa was a beautiful human girl who attracted the attention of all around her, including Poseidon, Greek God of the Sea. He seduced her and they made love in a temple of Athena, who was the rival of Poseidon. Because of this desecration of her temple (Athena was a virgin), mixed with the jealousy over Medusa's beauty, Athena struck Medusa down and turned her into a hideous Gorgon. Medusa was further cursed by turning anyone to stone who dared to look into her eyes.
