The "vine" of the bookmark wraps around the back of the book and buttons on the back of the flower to create a loop around the book. It can be unfastened or simply slid into the book to keep your place. The bookmark fit is slightly snug around the book with some slight stretch. If you would like to use the bookmark with thick books, please let me know in the 'Notes to Seller' or contact me so I can be sure you receive a bookmark which will fit properly.
This bookmark is made to fit standard sized paperback books (measuring 6 5/8 inches tall or smaller in the spine). Larger sizes are welcome for larger books or usage with thick books. If you'd like a different sized bookmark, please specify you desired length in the 'Notes to Seller' upon checkout.
