This pretty little girls shirt started with an upcycled American Girl short sleeved denim shirt, size M. Its in perfect condition and has white pearl snaps down the front. Its a nice fitted style with front vertical darts and little half-circle pockets. Its 36 inches around under the arms and the back length is 16 inches.

I added vintage crocheted lace to the collar and pockets. The lace color blends from white to dark pink.

The back has a darling vintage embroidered linen piece appliqued on it. The lace around the edges matches the lace on the collar and pockets. At the top of the back I created a yoke of white cotton with diagonal pink stripes.

A plain denim shirt has become something very special!
