In its former unloved life, this wall clock had a Hannah Montana design on it, and it lay unopened on the thrift store shelf, still in its plastic wrap. Hmm. I'm guessing some relative made a gift of it to a teenager, thinking "all the kids like that Hannah Montana girl, let's get her that." Wrongo.

PLEASE NOTE: All the clocks I use are completely functional. I test them first for a couple of days to make sure they keep the correct time before I even start work on them. Of course, I also test them after taking them apart and putting them back together. Each also gets a new battery (most take 1 AA) to begin her new life. Sometimes I sing the Mary Tyler Moore song to them (I live in Minneapolis): "…you're gonna make it after all!" before I send them off to their new lives.
