This blue wooden keepsake box is perfect for stashing earrings, cufflinks, necklaces, baby teeth, souvenir coins, shells, beads, or just about any small precious thing you can imagine.



The chest and two drawers are hand-stained a pretty French blue. The top and sides are découpaged with a whimsical red pattern of pale curlicues, while both drawers are lined with cute yet sophisticated striped card stock. But the real secret is on the back, where a white découpaged tulip hides quietly, just waiting for you to discover it.



This is by far one of my favorite pieces I've made; I was very tempted to keep it for myself but decided to share it with a lucky customer instead.



Sides, top, and back are painted with a very thin coat of acrylic glaze to protect them. Stain is water-soluble and all glues and acrylics used are non-toxic. Spot clean with a slightly damp or dry cloth only; do not soak.



Chest measures approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide and 4.75 inches (12 cm) tall. Each drawer is roughly 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall, 2 inches (5 cm) wide, and 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) deep.
