This upcycled liquor bottle with a cork stopper was headed for the recycling bin before I rescued it from destruction. After cleaning it thoroughly, I carefully applied a plaid pattern of various patterns of colorful paper in layers and then gently distressed it for a vintaged look. A thin coat of textured acrylic protects the new label from moisture. The bottom is unadorned to let light shine through the paper.



This bottle can hold 750mL of liquid but I would not recommend using it for food storage, as it must be very gently hand-washed and never soaked. Would function beautifully as a bud vase or as unique, hand-made home décor. The bottle stopper is cork topped with hard wax.



Bottle measures approximately 6 inches (15.24 cm) tall, 4 inches (10.2 cm) in diameter at the base, and 10 inches (25.4 cm) in circumference.



Adhesives and acrylics used are non-toxic.
