These upcycled napkin rings in red and white floral are made of a cardboard paper towel tube. Each ring was carefully hand-cut and then coated with thick layers of black acrylic paint. Then I wrapped the rings in slices of pretty craft paper in two patterns: a sweet red and white floral, and red, white, and green coordinating dots on a maroon background. The contrast of black and red gives a sophisticated flavor to this very cute, summery set. A thick coat of textured acrylic protects the rings and gives them extra sturdiness.
This set comes in a plain reusable cotton muslin drawstring bag with a matching red thread seam across the top.
These rings are easily my favorites that I've made so far. Could they be any more perfect for a summer dinner party?
All adhesives, paints, glosses, and inks used are non-toxic.
