Free form circles of decorative paper adorn this cute little decoupaged apothecary jar. Each piece of paper was hand-cut, carefully applied to the glass with multiple coats of permanent adhesive, and then fingerpainted with acrylic gloss for an interesting ridged texture. The paper has a design on both sides, making the interior of the jar equally pleasing to the eye.

The chromed lid is lined with plastic and screws on for an airtight seal. Ideal for storing paperclips, spices, beads, earrings, or just admiring on a shelf. Jar measures approximately 3 x 3 (7.6 x 7.6 cm) inches tall and wide.

Spot clean with damp cloth or glass cleaner only. Do not soak.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

I found these spice jars in the kitchen section of a department store and realized that they would be perfect candidates for adornment. So I got some beautiful double-sided craft paper, some glue, some acrylic glaze, and a whole lot of patience, and created these. I'm quite pleased with the results.
